The accelerating trends in Transparency are transforming our awareness in all facets of how we consume- from health implications of chemicals used in building products, to the environmental impacts of energy sources, to the community impacts of the way we grow our food. With this exponential growth in the Truth behind our resources comes a need for holistic-yet-curated accounting to help us navigate the data glut. This session will explore powerful custom tools and dynamic BIM interfaces developed by leading planning and design firms. These tools provide transparency and context to the otherwise complex web of design impacts and tradeoffs.
