Breaking Through Barriers: The Declare Process, Exposing the Supply Chain, and the End Game
Track: Materials + Products

Declare is transforming the building products industry through transparency. This session highlights the International Living Future Institute's Declare program and includes an in-depth discussion about the challenges and solutions to achieving desired results in transparency. We reveal Mohawk’s supply chain process, how Mohawk is focusing on the “end game,” and how Mohawk has transformed as a business with a Living Building Challenge Petal Certification project under their belt. Participants will analyze and compare the challenges throughout the manufacturing process in teams with the goal of paving the way for others to commit to transparency.
