This summit is a unique opportunity for ILFI Congress Members and Collaborative Leaders to gather together, learn from each other and work collectively to help each other further their goals and mission. This experience will be dynamic and participatory with lots of opportunities to share and develop ideas and plans for growing the Network and furthering the impact of our collective work toward a Living Future.
During part of this Summit, Collaborative Leaders will meet with other Collaborative Leaders from around the globe to share lessons learned from their collective experience affecting global change toward true sustainability. Per popular request, this Collaborative Leader-only session will also include training on engagement, facilitation, and advocacy skills specific to your work.
At the same time that Collaborative Leaders are meeting, ILFI Congress Members from around North America will be meeting to strategize on key policy and program issues that are in front of the Institute and critical across regions.
At the conclusion of the Summit, Congress Members and Collaborative Leaders within the same region as well as across regions will meet together to develop joint initiatives and ideas for collaboration on the short, medium, and long term.

Although not required, Congress Members and Collaborative Leaders are encouraged to also attend the Water Forum (Wed, May 11, 8a - 12p). This Forum will be focused on Water Policy issues and strategies. While the focus for this Forum is on the Cascadia Region, the topics and ideas will be relevant in other locations as well and will likely provide valuable ideas for policy, education, and other action for ILFI Congresses and Collaboratives alike.
