Arquitecto y Maestro en Comunicación por la Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de México (IBERO) con experiencia en diseño y construcción de 30 años. Académico investigador en el Departamento de Arquitectura de la UIA. Miembro y consejero de Libre Acceso A.C. desde 1999. Miembro fundador y Presidente 2015-2017 de Sustentabilidad para México A.C. SUMe, consejo emergente para México del World Green Builing Council WGBC.

An architect with an M.S. in Communication by the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, José Luis Gutiérrez has a 30 year practice in building design and construction and is a faculty member at the Department of Architecture at IBERO. He has been a member and advisor of Libre Acceso A.C. since 1999, and is a founding member of Sustentabilidad para México, A.C, (SUMe), a non-profit organization which is currently the emerging council in Mexico for the World Green Building Council (WGBC). He was elected President for SUMe for the period 2015-2017.
