Christopher Reinhart is a non-traditional graduate assistant in the M. Arch program at Ball State University where he researches open knowledge economies, platforms for collaboration, and regenerative design. His freelance projects have included homes and buildings for permaculture farms, along with tiny homes and installations using natural materials, mostly in the midwest of the United States, and one in Brazil. He teaches an introductory architecture studio at Ivy Tech Community College, and he continues to informally teach people how to build with natural materials. He previously worked as the Architecture Lead and Construction Manager for the non-profit Open Source Ecology and has also worked as an architect-in-training at Kirkwood Design Studio.
